Your job

The Finance & Risk Data Domain Store (F&R DDS) team supports the stakeholders in Finance and Risk with the implementation of the current and future data structure. As Expert Lead/Product Owner Instagrams you are co-responsible for the Instagrams platform, including the sourcing of SSF data, implementation of Data Quality checks and transformations. Your team consists of three separate teams with their own PO, all working on the same platform. Instagrams platform is an internal system containing financial data, it’s not referring to the social media platform.

You focus on representing the interests of the bank, supervisors and other key stakeholders within the applicable processes and procedures, external legislation and regulations and internal policies in the field of Data.

Next to your contextual tasks and responsibilities, you provide direct leadership to 5 to 12 employees. In this role it is important that you can make decisions based on strategic banking interests without losing sight of the daily deliverables (day-to-day decision making).

Working environment

The Data Department Finance & Risk is part of Finance & Risk Business Grids (F&RBG), and plays an active role for all the Finance and Risk departments. We employ 250+ international professionals with different backgrounds who are driven to bring risk data management to a structurally higher level. Our aim is to generate reliable risk data on time. We do this by improving the risk data itself, data systems and data processes. We work with an Agile operating model. Our Data Department Finance & Risk consists of 5 teams where the atmosphere is dynamic, open and informal.

You are part of the Data Department Finance & Risk and report to the Business Lead/Lead Product Owner (LPO) Finance & Risk Data Domain Store. Together with the Lead Business Lead/LPO you represent the F&R DDS Instagrams interests internally (MT, Finance/Risk, CIO, DFC, DIAL, Business MT’s, etc.) and externally (regulators).

Your profile

You have some experience in leading a team and are keen on further developing your leadership skills in this role. You have an interest and experience in delivery of (parts of)  Data Platforms within Finance and Risk Management. You are a passionate, hard-working professional with an eye for details. You are able to execute assignments independently as well as interact directly with stakeholders when it comes to day-to-day matters.

  • You’ve successfully completed a higher professional education (Bsc.) or degree (WO/Msc.)
  • 10+ years of relevant work experience, of which preferably 5+ years in a managerial role.
  • You are a strong communicator with excellent stakeholder management.
  • You have a keen interest in people management and you are able to motivate employees.
  • You are capable of giving and asking for feedback.
  • You have knowledge of Data Management, including sourcing, transformation and preferably data lineage.
  • You have experience with implementation of DDS’s.
  • You have worked in and/or with Scrum/DevOps teams.
  • You have affinity with Finance and Risk Management.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
