What will you do?

As a Data Privacy Officer, you play a key role within our organization. Your responsibilities

  • Drafting, implementing, and maintaining privacy and data protection policies.
  • Acting as the first point of contact for privacy-related questions within the organization and for supervisory authorities.
  • Conducting Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs) and risk analyses.
  • Monitoring compliance with the GDPR and other relevant legislation.
  • Initiating improvements in processes and systems to mitigate privacy risks.
  • Providing internal awareness sessions, trainings, and workshops on data protection.
  • Keeping up to date with relevant developments in privacy, legislation, and technology.

What do you bring?

  • A completed bachelor’s or master’s degree in Law, IT, Public Administration, Security Management, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of work experience in a similar role within a data-intensive organization.
  • Thorough knowledge of the GDPR and other relevant (international) privacy laws.
  • Experience in conducting DPIAs, privacy audits, and drafting reports.
  • Ability to translate legal and technical information into clear, understandable language.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills; confident and assertive.
  • Certifications such as CIPP/E, CIPM or similar are a plus.
